In the grand launching of this phone some very famous people were invited to launch this cheap phone which was made for the poor and rich both they were:

But our Respected Central Defense Minister didn’t attempted the launch as he may also be thinking the company is a fraud as most of the Indians are thinking because it is not possible to sell a phone in just Rs/=251 which is cheaper than a 3G Recharge ! Or he has some other reason for being absent in the grand launching

Firstly, he cleared the air about subsidy by saying there is no government subsidy involved, but the company plans to benefit from economies of scale.
