Dark mode turns the light surfaces of the page dark, creating an experience ideal for the users who use YouTube till very late hours of the night or in a dark room like that of mine.
Watching YouTube is now a habit for me, creating videos, learning and motivating myself all at one place. Though being a human being we get bored of a thing to which we regularly watch, so here is a hidden YouTube feature that will allow you to tweak with the original YouTube user interface a bit.
Requirements for activating YouTube's dark mode are as follows:

- Open the Inspect window by hitting Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows, or Option+Command+I on Mac
- Select the Console tab
- Paste the following text:
and hit enter. - Close the Inspect Window and refresh your browser, and dark mode can now be found in the main settings menu in the top right. Turn it on and enjoy a new dark experience!
The feature is not yet officially announced by YouTube but it can be seen after a number of changes.
